Product Details
Used to improve the corrosion resistance (alkali resistance, saltwater resistance) of aluminum anodizing products, it is a pretreatment agent implemented before high-temperature sealing. Complies with RoHS directives and environmental requirements, free of nickel and the four heavy metals (lead, mercury, chromium, cadmium).
Features:
- Improves the sealing quality of the anodized film, helping to achieve better results in product weather resistance tests by enhancing corrosion resistance.
- Will not be contaminated by colored product treatment water.
- Operates at room temperature, no additional thermal management costs required.
Properties:
- Appearance: Light brown liquid
- Specific gravity: 1.020 (20°C)
Usage method:
| Standard | Range | |
| Concentration | 40mL/1L | 30-50mL/1L |
| pH value | 3.8 | 3.6-4.4 |
| Temperature | 23°C | 21-25°C |
| Time | 120 seconds | 100-180 seconds |
| Tank material | Stainless steel (SUS 304) or plastic tank | |
| Filtration | It is recommended to use continuous filtration with a filter cloth mesh aperture of 20-50μm. | |
Precautions:
- The maximum concentration is 7mL/L and should be used at this concentration. If the concentration increases, discoloration and powdering of colored water may occur.
- When preparing the bath, use D.I WATER (distilled water) to avoid using groundwater and tap water containing metal salts, as this may shorten the product's lifespan.
Management method:
- Bath preparation: Dissolve this product evenly in water to disperse it in the tank. Use DI WATER (distilled water) for water.
- Washing: Wash both before and after.
- Supplement: The standard consumption per square meter is 3-5mL. However, it varies depending on the shape of the treated product, treatment concentration, usage period, and final state. Supplement based on calculated experience values applicable to each site.
- Replacement: The replacement cycle is about 1-2 weeks. Replace the liquid if too many impurities (inorganic, organic) are mixed in, or if discoloration occurs during the sealing process after supplementation.
- Wastewater: The main component is a special surfactant, free of any heavy metals, thus there are no wastewater issues caused by heavy metals.
Process:
Anodizing → Washing → Dyeing → Washing → DIA SR-100 → Washing → High-temperature sealing agent → Washing → Soup washing
