Product Details
DIA-PAT is a treatment used during the sealing process of aluminum anodized oxide films to remove nickel hydrates generated from nickel acetate sealing baths, and it uses special chelating components to fix them, preventing re-dissolution of post-treatment additives.
Features:
- As a nickel acetate agent, it prevents the leaching of nickel components caused by nickel hydrates after sealing.
- It does not affect the anodized oxide film and can be used with confidence.
- Prevents small particles from detaching from the inner surface of precision electronic devices after anodizing, which could lead to equipment abnormalities.
- Free of heavy metals, phosphorus, nitrates, etc., reducing environmental burden.
Properties:
- Appearance: Light black liquid
- pH: 2.3 - 2.5
Usage method:
- Usage method: After building the bath, add a small amount each time.
- Concentration: 50㎖/liter
- Temperature: 60-65℃;
- Usage tank: CPVC
- Immersion time: 5 minutes - 15 minutes
- Water quality for use: Deionized water or tap water
- Process sequence: Anodizing - Dyeing - Sealing treatment - Rinsing - DIA-PAT treatment - Rinsing - Drying
Packaging:20L plastic drum
Precautions:
- When treating large surface areas (e.g., curtain edges, panels, etc.), the concentration should be increased by 5-10%.
- The maximum concentration is 70㎖/ℓ and should be used at this concentration. If the concentration increases, discoloration of colored water may occur.
- When processing and managing beyond the suitable temperature, the main components may be damaged, leading to poor treatment; please maintain the appropriate temperature.
- When building the bath, use ion-exchanged water or tap water, avoiding groundwater containing metal salts.
Management method
- Bath building: Dissolve this product evenly in water to disperse it in the tank. Use ion-exchanged water or tap water.
- Rinsing: To dry as quickly as possible after washing, implement hot water rinsing.
- Supplement: The standard consumption per square meter is 1-2㎖. However, it varies depending on the shape of the treated product, treatment concentration, usage period, and final state. Supplement based on calculated empirical values applicable to each site.
- Replacement: The replacement cycle is about 1-2 weeks. Replace the liquid if too many impurities (inorganic or organic) are mixed in or if the state after supplementation has not improved.
- pH: No need to manage pH separately.
- Wastewater: Contains no heavy metals or harmful substances, eliminating wastewater issues caused by heavy metals.
Treatment results:For the surfaces of products before and after treatment, analyze the residual nickel (Ni) using EDX (X-RAY elemental analyzer).
Test conditions:
Test material: AL5052 H32 rolled plate
- Anodizing (film): Sulfuric acid 200g/L, temperature: 22℃, voltage: 13V, time: 45 minutes
- Dyeing: Black-MLW 7g/L, temperature: 50℃, time: 10 minutes
- Sealing: Top Seal H-298: 40cc/L, temperature: 90℃, time: 30 minutes
- DIA-PAT treatment: DIA-PAT: 50cc/L, temperature: 65℃, time: 10 minutes
Surface analysis of nickel-based high-temperature sealing treatment: Nickel (Ni) detected.
