3. Preparation of Dye Bath

  • Before using the product, the black GL paste must be stirred evenly.
  • When preparing the dye bath, it must be fully dissolved.
  • It is best to pre-dissolve in a separate container with 5 times the amount of hot water (80-90°C) compared to the dye. Then, stir the pre-dissolved mother liquor into the dyeing tank.

4. Dye Lightfastness
Black GL paste has excellent lightfastness.
Lightfastness:Grade >8 (Test standard: ISO 2135).
5. Instructions

  • Unsealed dyed aluminum parts cannot be bleached with dilute nitric acid and sulfuric acid. They can be decolorized with 10% nitric acid + 5% potassium permanganate. After treatment with potassium permanganate, they must be neutralized in a 5% sodium bisulfite solution for 1-5 minutes.
  • This dye is sensitive to aluminum salts and sulfates, and workpieces that have been anodized must be thoroughly cleaned before dyeing.

6. Treatment of Waste Dye Liquor
Waste dye liquor can be treated with Anodal WT-1, and the following table lists the treatment methods for dye waste:
