Black GLX is a water-soluble dye suitable for aluminum anodizing adsorption dyeing. It has a neutral gray color and excellent lightfastness. This dye can be used to achieve a deep black color as well as a lighter gray color, making it versatile in its applications.

Applicable pH:5.5-6.0
pH adjustment:A pH stabilizer must be added when using this dye.
Dyeing requirements:To ensure uniform dyeing, it is recommended to stir the dye bath during dyeing.
Water quality requirements:It is best to use deionized water.
Sealing requirements:It is recommended to use Anodal® ASL.
3. Bath Solution Preparation
When preparing the bath solution, it must be fully dissolved.
It is best to pre-dissolve in a separate container using 5 times the amount of hot water (80-90°C) compared to the dye. Then, stir the pre-dissolved stock solution into the dye bath.
4. Dye Lightfastness (ISO 2135).
Dark color: 7-8 grade, above 12μm.
5. Instructions
- Undyed workpieces can be decolorized with dilute nitric acid.
- This dye is sensitive to sulfate ions, so oxidized workpieces must be thoroughly cleaned before dyeing.
- This dye has a long service life after opening, lasting over a year, with low usage costs and excellent performance, making it suitable for general black dyeing.
- This dye is a single-component dye with good stability and can be mixed with other dyes to produce different shades of black or gray.
6. Treatment of Waste Dyeing Liquor
Waste dyeing liquor can be precipitated using Anodal WT-1 Liquid. This method is described in detail in the Anodal WT-1 Liquid technical documentation.
