3. Bath Solution Preparation
When preparing the bath solution, it must be fully dissolved.
It is best to pre-dissolve in a separate container using five times the amount of hot water (80-90°C) compared to the dye. Then, stir the pre-dissolved stock solution into the dyeing bath.
4. Dye Lightfastness
Dark Color (12 µm):7-8 (ISO 2135)
5. Instructions
To achieve the best stability of the dye solution, you can:
- Dye at room temperature (25 °C)
- Maintain pH not lower than 5.5
- High dye concentration (3 g/l)
- Use diluted nitric acid for non-sealed dyeing.
- This dye is very sensitive to aluminum and sulfate, so the workpieces that have been anodized must be thoroughly cleaned before dyeing.
- Water sealing will cause the color to fade.
6. Disposal of Waste Dyeing Solution
Waste dyeing solution can be treated with Anodal WT-1, and the following table lists the treatment methods for dyeing waste liquid:
