2. Application Conditions
| Concentration | Dyeing temperature | Dyeing time | |
| Light color | 0.05 - 0.2 g/l | 25 - 60°C | 10 - 20 min |
| Medium color | 0.3 - 0.5 g/l | 25 - 60°C | 10 - 20 min |
| Dark color | 1.0 - 3.0 g/l | 25 - 60°C | 20 - 30 min |
Applicable pH:5.5±0.5
pH adjustment:It is recommended to add Anodal Dye Buffer to adjust to pH 5.6
Water quality:Deionized water is preferred
Sealing:It is recommended to use Anodal® ASL (one-step or two-step)
3. Bath Solution Preparation
When preparing the bath solution, it must be fully dissolved.
It is best to pre-dissolve in a separate container using hot water (80-90°C) at five times the amount of dye. Then, stir the pre-dissolved stock solution into the dyeing bath.
4. Dye Lightfastness
Dark color (12 µm): Level 7 (ISO 2135).
5. Instructions
- This dye has a wide range of dyeing applications.
- Unsealed dyeing cannot be removed with dilute nitric acid or sulfuric acid. It can be removed with a solution of 10% nitric acid + 5% potassium permanganate. After treatment, it needs to be neutralized in 5% sodium bisulfite for 1-5 minutes.
- This dye is sensitive to aluminum and sulfate, so workpieces that have been anodized must be thoroughly cleaned before dyeing.
- To maintain the best stability conditions for the dye bath: dyeing at room temperature (20-25°C), pH greater than 5.5, high concentration (1-3g/L)
- Sealing will cause the color to fade and slightly yellow.
Preventing mold growth:Adding an antibacterial agent can inhibit mold growth for a long time. It is recommended to use 25-50mg/L Nipacide Cl 15 MV (please refer to relevant technical data for details).
6. Disposal of Waste Dyeing Solution
Waste dyeing solution can be precipitated using Anodal WT-1 Liquid, which is described in detail:
